My prototypical customer is a male in his early thirties. He was born with an intellectual disability and schizophrenia, which prevents him to be able to take care of himself. He currently lives in a group home where there are people who help him on his everyday needs, like personal hygiene, proper nutrition and his healthcare. His favorite hobby is watching monster truck videos on YouTube, coloring and eating chocolate. His favorite toy is a Hot Wheels monster truck that his mother bought him for his birthday. Even though he likes cars, he doesn’t like to ride one because it is out of his comfort zone. Due to his condition, he must follow a strict schedule because any changes might create unwanted anxiety and his behavior could become violent.
What do you have in common with the customer avatar?
The customer avatar and I have two things in common, we are males and have the same age. I do not think is a coincidence because certain conditions are more predominant in males.
